Good preparation is everything. In most of Europe, free camping is no longer allowed. But there are many Apps that can guide you to great camping spots, provide info about routes and help you learn more about other people’s camping adventures, to help you plan your own.

ASKING DOESN’T COST A THING

Many landowners are happy to make their property available for overnight stays, as long as you ask them first. Before pitching your tent, it’s always better to make sure you’re welcome. Chances are, you’ll make some good contacts – or new friends.
